Sir Yes Sir!

Follow orders and stop thinking you are hot shit rookie!

Traders like to think they are a big deal because they are “traders”. If you are new to the industry and by that we mean 3 years or less, then here’s a tip to simplify your psychology. We all know you need to treat trading as a business and that we must follow our edge, but how?

Let’s think of our role in a different way. Imagine we have a strategy and we are simply order takers for the strategy. Set your ego aside and take the orders. The setup is there, take the order. The setup isn’t there sit on your hands.

This one thing, if you commit, could change your whole trading career. When you are live and sitting in front of the charts, look at the market as your boss. The setup is the command or order given and you execute. Take it a step further and stop thinking about trading and only focus on this one concept.

  1. You have a statistical Edge
  2. You have 1 solid Setup
  3. Wait until the market gives you the command
  4. Do your job and that is to do exactly what the market demands of you and that is always to follow your edge

Just stop thinking you know better and try this for a month!
