Singapore

Just off the tip of Malaysia lies an island named Singapore that has taken the area’s runaways and created a utopia in the region.  With a strong economy based around shipping and trade this tiny city-state has forged the groundwork for what may become the ideal for the world.  For us in the United States, visiting a place where chewing gum could land you in jail, may not seem like a great idea but Singapore is a land of contrast.  The way of life is formed around the greater good of the people and not the advancement of the few.  You are free to pursue your dreams, but you are also taken care of with free healthcare and even housing.  In a world with growing population, robot work forces, and artificial intelligence we need to start reinventing what the human role is.  Maybe Singapore has already begun shaping this new world.
