KAKA Large Travel Backpack

Price: $50.00 | Available on Amazon

We love this all in one backpack!  These bags can be purchased from multiple vendors and come in a variety of styles to suit your needs.  They’re just big enough to be able to carry, if you pack correctly, a whole weeks’ worth of supplies. The bag is still light enough to carry on your back and stand in line comfortably, as we’ve experienced, for hours!  They fit in all overhead bins, even on the smallest planes or under the seat in front of you.

There are  a variety of carrying options… you can wear it  as a backpack, attach the adjustable strap and you have a shoulder sling to carry it as a satchel and there are multiple handles for you to carry it like a briefcase.

One of the best features about the bag is the variety and the multitude of compartments that it contains.  You can completely organize all your essentials, toiletries, clothing and other supplies for your trip.  Within the bag, you can have separate compartments for things that you need on the plane.  The pocket on top of the bag is perfect for storing accessories that you need to get to quickly such as phone chargers, cables and extra batteries.  The front zipper pocket is perfect for passports, travel documents, cash and credit cards.  The zipper is tucked away, making it difficult for a passerby to open.  There are also convenient little zipper pouches in the waist belt so when you’re wearing the bag you can store important things that you need quick access to without having to remove your backpack.  We utilized these for currency, cards, and passports.  There is also a padded compartment to protect your laptop.

Another nice feature of the bag is that it’s water resistant. We carried our backpacks in the rain several times and nothing inside got wet.  This is a necessity when you’re in rainy places such as London or anywhere in Ireland!

We’ve used these bags several times including a week trip to China where we used one bag for the two of us and a two-week trip across Europe where we use one bag for each of us.  We will be using these backpacks again.  It eliminates the hassle of checking bags, waiting for your bag on the carousel and dragging an overstuffed suitcase with a broken wheel or handle through the airport. We have witnessed it so many times and we always laugh and say they should’ve taken a backpack!
