La Grande Orange Cafe

Check out La Grande Orange Cafe

This funky little spot, once home to the historic Del Mar Station, has a relaxing outdoor seating area and more formal dining inside.  We stopped here randomly as we were taking a walk through Old Town.  This spot fits the surrounding area perfectly and sits right next to the railway in case you want to take a quick train into LA.  It was more of a lunch / dinner for us so we had to try the tacos.  I opted for the grilled swordfish and Michael dove into some spicy short ribs.

Things to Know:

Hop a Train…Del Mar Gold Line runs right behind  LGO Cafe

Slow Cooker…Try some of the meat from the 100k wood fire rotisserie oven on display in the outdoor patio

Muffin Tops…They have heavenly homemade English muffins

Belly up to the Bar…The Otis Bar, that is! Located inside of LGO Café

Parking…We walked but I know there is a parking garage near by and I think its free for the first 90 minutes
